Lisa Faremouth Weber is a graduate of Northwestern University and Loyola Marymount University’s Masters of Yoga Studies program, an advanced Yoga Therapist, and is a certified yoga teacher at the 500plus level.  She opened Heaven Meets Earth Yoga Studio in 2005 and has traveled internationally leading workshops and teacher trainings.  She is a certified Chakradance Facilitator, Reiki Master, Shiatsu, and Sacred Lomi Lomi Healing Bodyworker.  Lisa sits on several non-profit boards.  She produced the 30-minute documentary film The Future of Yoga: Your Pathway to Happiness which is featured on Kino MacGregor’s OMStars online yoga channel.
I recently had the chance to talk to Lisa about the following:
- Her story of opening Heaven Meets Earth Yoga in 2005. She also shared with me the spiritual, emotional, and financial practices she used to keep it open for the past 19 years, including during COVID when many other Yoga Studios were shutting down.
- How she aligned with her soul’s purpose and dharma and practical tips for how you can align with your soul’s purpose through your family ancestry and unique capabilities.
- How Lisa’s personal practice helped her overcome childhood trauma, an eating disorder and cope with grief
