When 10 year old Roberta Battaglia first came on stage she was a quivering bag of nerves. At one point she was crying with nerves.
After being calmed down from the judges she managed to compose herself enough to start singing.
What happened next was one of those moments that you watch all these talent shows for ‘The goosebump feeling’. That feeling that brings the hairs on your arms and the back of your neck to attention and the lump in the throat.
That is the souls recognition of raw talent and that’s what happened when I listened to 10 year old Roberta Battaglia.
